CygNet OPC Servers
CygNet Software supports three OPC servers:
- CygNet OPC Server — an OPC server that responds to requests for real-time CygNet data using the OPC DA (Data Access) specification, versions 1.0a, 2.0a, 2.05a, and 3.0. The CygNet OPC server is an OPC DA server, although the name and user interface for the application use the label CygNet OPC Server.
- CygNet OPC HDA Server — an OPC server that can be used to exchange archived CygNet data using the OPC HDA (OPC Historical Data Access) specification, versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2.
- CygNet OPC UA Server — an OPC UA server that exposes real-time and archived CygNet data to an OPC UA client application using the OPC UA (OPC Unified Architecture) specification, version 1.04.
